I became aware of Palmtop journal during its first year of publication. I immediately reached out to Steve Clack, publisher and editor of the U.K.-based magazine, to find out if there was some way we could help each other. We agreed to exchange copies of our respective publications, and I continued to receive copies of Palmtop by mail well into the early 2000’s. As I was based in Sunnyvale, California and Vancouver, British Columbia, I never had a chance to meet Steve in person, though we exchanged regular emails for several years.

Right from the start, I was impressed with the quality of Steve’s publication. The early issues were highly-informative and very well produced. Later issues just kept getting better and better. Palmtop was an inspiration to me when I built out our web-exclusive publication mobilis: the mobile computing lifestyle magazine. Steve and his team are undoubtably an important part of the history of PSION.
