Goher has admitted that he is in touch with Amrita
Recently there have been numerous rumors and speculation about Amrita Rao and her love life. Is this the end to the single status of this Bollywood beauty? The story hovers around Amrita having a love interest with lead singer, Goher Mumtaz, from the Pakistani band Jal. Although some reports even mentioned another member of the band, Farheen Saeed.
The romance it is believed started after Amrita agreeing to be part of the videos and promotion of Jal’s second album called ‘Boondh’ A Drop of Jal.
A source revealed that Goher came to Mumbai to shoot the video Chalte Chalte, with Amrita. During the shoot, the duo became very friendly and developed attraction for each other. Goher has been visiting India frequently and they have been hanging out together as well as keeping in touch by SMS and telephone.
Goher has admitted that he is in touch with Amrita, as he does not have many friends in India and has found this in Amrita with whom he is close. He said he visits her in India often and is convincing her to perform in Pakistan even. With regards, to the video for the album he said “Amrita is the face of the album. We are coming to India very soon to promote it. Amrita is a great professional.” 
Amrita has yet to come forward to admit the rumors at present. She said that she is quite fond of the band and all three of its members – Goher, Frahan and Shazi and went onto say that working with stars from over the border was a great opportunity. However, she indicated that love was only in the video and that she would tell the whole world when it happens for real.
So, the rumors are yet to be confirmed but will it be long before Amrita Rao succumbs to the need for some real love in her life? Let’s wait and see!
